Frédérique Constant

The Frédérique Constant watch factory was created in 1988 by Aletta Bax and Peter Stas who launched their first collection in 1992, comprising six models equipped with Swiss movements and assembled by a watchmaker in Geneva. Frédérique Constant is involved in all stages of watch production, from initial design to final assembly. Currently the Geneva brand is at the origin of around thirty manufacture calibres, several of which offer Haute Horlogerie complications, such as the tourbillon and the perpetual calendar.

The name Frédérique Constant is made up of the first names of the ancestors of the two founders of the brand: Frédérique Schreiner (1881-1969) and Constant Stas (1880-1967) who founded his company in 1904, manufacturing printed dials for the watch industry.

The new Frederique Constant Geneva factory measures 3200 square meters. It is engaged in the business of movement component production, caliber assembly, watch assembly and in-depth quality control.

All Frédérique Constant watches are assembled by hand, checked and controlled over a long period of time, both by watchmakers and by special equipment, in order to guarantee optimum quality. Making no compromises in terms of quality is a strict priority for Frédérique Constant.
